This overwhelming green valley is highlighted by intense hues of blue and offers botanical and geological excursions and boat rides. The trilogy of life reveals itself before you. Walks through Nature
IN THE PLANT WORLD. BOTANICAL TRAIL
Maquis species, endemic plants of the hills, wildflowers along the paths, grasses, blue thistles, yellow immortelles, catmint, sarsaparilla coming into bloom... Plenty to marvel at and to inspire a little botanising. Murtoli is an open book revealing a rare and unspoilt natural world.
IN THE MARINE WORLD. AN IMMERSION IN THE BIG BLUE
In the gulf, its colour reflects the sky. A blue in which the eye can lose itself. With only 8 kilometres of beaches as its boundaries. An aquatic world to be discovered from the sea.
Aboard a pointu, the traditional wooden fishing boat of Mediterranean fishermen, cruise from cove to deserted beach; for something more sporty, take to the sea by kayak, or enjoy the comfort of our Boston Whaler in a small group, or even a yacht with a skipper.
IN THE MINERAL WORLD. HISTORICAL AND GEOLOGICAL HIKES, AND MEGALITHIC SITES
Ochre granite rocks with strange zoomorphic shapes, caves, excavations eroded by time, the Domaine de l'Ortolo is rich in a fascinating and mysterious mineral world. The archaeological sites of Castellu, the medieval site of Pianu di U Grecu, and the Cauria plateau with its megaliths. A fascinating and enriching discovery that you can experience on your own, or better still, accompanied by our expert guides and lecturers, specialists in history, naturalists and ornithologists, who simply love sharing their passion.
